Setup Policy Knowledge Base

HR admin creates Knowledge collection: "Company Policies". Uploads policy documents: Employee handbook, Benefits guide, PTO policy, Code of conduct, Remote work policy. Knowledge collection is configured for RAG (automatic).

Configure Policy Q&A Agent

HR admin creates Customer-Owned Agent (Professional+) or uses Business Assistant (Starter). Agent system prompt: "You are a policy assistant. Answer questions using only the provided policy documents. If information is not in the documents, say so. Always cite which policy document you're referencing." Agent is bound to "Company Policies" Knowledge collection. Agent is shared with all employees (internal sharing).

Employee Self-Service

Employee opens SUPERWISE /chat and selects policy Q&A agent. Asks: "How many PTO days do I get per year?" Agent searches Knowledge collection, finds PTO policy, responds with accurate answer. Agent cites source: "According to the PTO Policy document, employees receive 20 days per year." Employee asks follow-up questions and gets instant, accurate answers.
